The 4-day migration plan
Day 1
Heatcord audits which ManyChat flows are webinar-related vs general (e.g. Messenger lead-gen, WhatsApp customer support).
Day 2
Rebuilds the webinar reminder flows in Heatcord. The 24h/1h/15min reminders + 'we're live now' broadcast become Heatcord's native webinar reminder sequence.
Day 3
Migrates webinar registrants from ManyChat audiences to Heatcord's audience list. Tags preserved.
Day 4
Test the end-to-end. ManyChat account can be downgraded (kept for the non-webinar flows) or cancelled if it was only for webinars.
What you trade. Feature by feature
ManyChat Pro ($29-79/mo)
Messenger/WhatsApp/SMS chatbot, broadcast to opted-in audiences, flows with conditional logic. No webinar-context (doesn't know about your event time).
Heatcord webinar reminders
Email reminders synced to webinar event time (24h/1h/15min/'starting now'), SMS option on Pro+, webhook hooks to push to Messenger/WhatsApp if needed. Tied to attendance + behavior automatically.
What it actually costs to leave
ManyChat is monthly. Hidden cost: Facebook Messenger opt-in. Subscribers who opted into your ManyChat Messenger flow gave consent to Messenger contact. That consent doesn't transfer to email. Don't email people who never opted into email; the GDPR risk is real. Heatcord handles consent-only-for-relevant-channel on day 1.
The one thing you'll forget
The thing creators always forget when leaving ManyChat: Messenger broadcast performance metrics. Open rate of 60-80% on Messenger vs 25-40% on email. If you switch reminders to email-only, expect a 20-30% drop in webinar attendance rate. Test SMS reminders (on Heatcord Pro+) to recapture that engagement.
