The 7-day migration plan
Day 1-2
Heatcord audits all your active automated connections. Categorises: 'replaceable by Heatcord native' (~60-70%), 'true cross-system glue' (~30-40%), 'broken / unused' (kill on sight).
Day 3-4
Sets up Heatcord native connections to replace the 'replaceable' automated connections: Stripe, HubSpot, Salesforce, Notion, Slack, Google Sheets, Webflow, Airtable.
Day 5-6
Migrates the remaining 'true glue' automated connections to use Heatcord's automatic notifications directly, eliminating Zapier as the middleman.
Day 7
Verify end-to-end. The automated connections you kept are now ~30% fewer and only fire for legitimate cross-system bridges. Zapier plan can be downgraded to Free or Starter.
What you trade. Feature by feature
Zapier Professional ($19/mo, 2K tasks)
Generic any-to-any connection platform. Breaks when source/destination automatic connections change. No webinar-context awareness. Every connection is bespoke.
Heatcord built-in connections
Native, maintained: Stripe Connect, HubSpot, Salesforce, ActiveCampaign, Notion, Slack, Google Sheets, Airtable, Webflow, WordPress, Meta Pixel/Cautomatic connection, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, X Pixel. Updated when source automatic connections change, no zap rebuild required.
What it actually costs to leave
Zapier bills monthly. No contract penalty. Hidden cost: the automated connections that are SO load-bearing nobody remembers what they do. Don't delete a connection on day 1 without checking what downstream system depends on it. Heatcord does the audit on day 1-2 so you don't accidentally break your audience list sync.
The one thing you'll forget
The thing creators always forget when leaving Zapier: filter logic baked into automated connections. A connection might say 'only fire if attendee.country = US AND offer.amount > 100'. That filter logic needs to be ported into Heatcord's native automation rules. Heatcord documents every filter on day 2 before deleting.
